MAINFRAME POSITIONS IN PUNE

1- CICS ONLINE SYSTEMS ASSURANCE ANS SOFTWARE RELEASE SUPPORT
BASIC FUNCTIONS
Provide support and perform tasks related to CICS and CAFC (CICS Application File Control) maintenance level upgrades. Provide support and perform tasks related to client application software release implementations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Define and install CICS RDO (Resource Definition Online) entries in QA and Production environments according to client specifications.
Define and install CAFC (CICS Application File Control) entries in QA and Production environments according to client specifications.
Generate Excel spreadsheets for Data Security listing all new datasets requiring update access in QA and Production CICS regions, based on release reports generated on IBM mainframe.

Generate client post-Production sign-off spreadsheet, based on release reports generated on IBM mainframe.

Modify startup JCL for QA and Production CICS regions to utilize CICS and/or CAFC system libraries at new maintenance levels, according to specifications supplied by Online Systems Development.

Modify common PROCs referenced in startup JCL for QA and Production CICS regions to utilize CICS and/or CAFC system libraries at new maintenance levels, according to specifications supplied by Online Systems Development.

Level-set JCL and PROCs for QA and Production CICS regions upon completion of implementation rollouts.

Update CAFC batch interface module (AFCT2016) to utilize datasets for new CAFC releases (written in Assembler code), using PDX (Program Development eXtension) software in IBM TSO (Time Sharing Online) environment.

Modify JCL and PROCs used for generating daily CAFC reports to utilize new CAFC datasets.


Hours of work are Monday thru Friday - 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Standard Time. Off EST-hour support and weekend coverage will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year experience with TSO/ISPF, JCL, z/OS Utilities; familiarity with IBM
CICS and z/OS environments
Minimum 1 year experience with implementing CICS RDO functions
Some experience making minor Assembler code modifications
Minimum 1 year experience with implementing CAFC or equivalent (DADS, BAC) entries in
a CICS environment; Capable of learning PDX Version Control software
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

2- CICS SOFTWARE INSTALLATION SUPPORT
BASIC FUNCTIONS

Install and Maintain IBM and vendor code-base using IBM’s SMP/E (System Modification Program/Extended).

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Install and maintain CICS and other CICS related products using IBM’s SMP/E. This includes Receive, Apply, Accept, Reject & Restore. It also requires maintaining multiple SMP/E zones. Hours of work are Monday thru Friday - 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Standard Time. Off hour support and weekend coverage may be required.




QUALIFICATIONS

3 to 5 years of experience with SMP/E.
Knowledge of CICS concepts and facilities.
Knowledge of z/OS concepts and facilities.
Familiarity with IBM ShopzSeries.
Experience with TSO/ISPF, JCL, z/OS Utilities.

3- CICS TABLE MAINTENANCE SUPPORT

Job Description / Basic Functions

Perform mainframe CICS Resource table maintenance, utilizing CICS Resource Definition Online and OEM software Change Automation for Transaction Series (CA-CATS)

Essential Responsibilities / Requirements

Perform CICS Transaction Server resource table maintenance, implementing changes beginning in development through the entire production cycle. Utilization of CICS Resource Definition Online (RDO) and OEM software Change Automation for Transaction Series (CATS) required. Minimum 3-5 years experience using JCL and TSO/ISPF. Knowledge of z/OS fundamentals and CICS
basic facilities are required. DB2 knowledge would be advantageous.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years mainframe experience
- JCL, TSO / ISPF, z/OS utilities
- Knowledge of z/OS fundamentals and CICS basic facilities
- Knowledge of CICS resource definitions
- DB2 knowledge is advantageous
- Ability to take direction
- Good organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Work day availability 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday.
- Off hour and weekend support may be required

4. CICS-CAFC SYSTEM SUPPORT
BASIC FUNCTIONS

Provide technical support for CAFC and potentially other CICS related products.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, maintain and administer CAFC (CICS Application File Control) product. This would include debugging CAFC application problems such as Timeouts & incorrect output.

Assist application development with CAFC configuration and problem determination.

Assist in the ongoing migration of CAFC to a homegrown process for RLS files.

Hours of work are Monday thru Friday - 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Standard Time. Off hour support and weekend coverage may be required.


QUALIFICATIONS

1 to 2 years of experience with CAFC or equivalent (DADS or CICS/BAC).
Knowledge of CICS concepts and facilities.
Knowledge of z/OS concepts and facilities.
Experience with TSO/ISPF, JCL, z/OS Utilities.

5- CICS DUMP READING SUPPORT

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Assist CICS development application groups with routine coding and testing issues.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

CICS Application development support. This includes assisting application developers in all phases of CICS development from Coding, testing and debugging in an AOR/TOR environment. Hours of work are Monday thru Friday - 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Standard Time. Off hour support and weekend coverage may be required.


QUALIFICATIONS

3 to five years experience in CICS application development in Assembler and Cobol
Dump reading skills are a must.
Knowledge of CICS Intertest or similar product.
Knowledge of CEDF
Experience with TSO/ISPF, JCL, z/OS Utilities.
Knowledge of z/OS concepts and facilities.

6- FUNCTION BTS SECURITY SYSTEM SUPPORT
BASIC FUNCTIONS

Provide end-user support for the BTS Security system.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide support for the CICS BTS security system. This includes assistance in configuration, report generation and rudimentary problem determination of the BTS security system. Hours of work are Monday thru Friday - 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Standard Time. Off hour support and weekend coverage may be required.




QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of CICS concepts and facilities.
Knowledge of z/OS concepts and facilities.
1 year experience with XCEL.
Experience with TSO/ISPF, JCL, z/OS Utilities.
